So many young people are murdered through gun and knife crime - Word for Weapons was set up to do something positive about it.
We have distributed many weapon bins throughout London - this has contributed to the collection of weapons and the saving of lives.
Through the help of Partners, Sponsors, Volunteers and Donations - We can help stop a life ending like this.
Welcome to Word 4 Weapons. So far we have helped save lives by collecting over 8,000 weapons voluntarily handed in by those who may have used them.
Word 4 Weapons is a multi-award winning, Christian based organisation formed in 2007 by Michael Smith to counteract the wave of knife and gun crime which is devastating our communities. There are now 25 knife bins in 13 boroughs of London. Weapons are openly used on our streets leaving individuals in fear, injured or killed. We are doing something different to bring back the true value of life to a society that is becoming numb to violent crime.
