A weapon does not bring respect

The law is nothing compared to the suffering you’ll receive if you get into a fight with someone who also has a weapon.

Guns
Having a gun, or any part of a gun or ammunition, is illegal with serious penalties. Carrying a replica gun could end up with you being the only one who is shot.

Offensive Weapons
Anything can be an offensive weapon if it is used for the wrong purpose. A sharpened metal comb won’t fool anyone and turns it into a made offensive weapon.

Knives
This is anything with a blade or point. Carrying a rigid knife (like a kitchen knife or lock knife) in public is an offense. A folding knife with a small blade (less than 3 inches) might be ok on a camping holiday but is impossible to explain away on the streets of London.

What the law says about reasonable excuse.
You may have a reasonable excuse if taking a properly wrapped knife directly to a knife bin or have arranged to hand it to a street pastor.
