Putting a knife into the knife bin is one thing, being able to exchange it for something is better.
Word 4 Weapons has a quantity of
"All I Need" packs. They contain:
- A Bible
- Cops and Robbers Comic
- Specially selected gifts
Making Safe
To exchange a knife for a bag; simply wrap up your knife as shown and deposit it into one of our knife bins. CONGRATULATIONS! This is the first step towards turning your life around.
We are in contact with various organisations that may be willing to participate in this scheme, to be on the front line to make the exchange.
For obvious reasons it is not possible to simply handover a gun to one of our volunteers; but they can be a contact through which the weapon can be surrendered in special circumstances.
