Education Workshops

We have been running Education Workshops in schools and local communities for a number of years and even received recognition from the Police Borough Commander of Hackney, London in 2011.

Our workshops are aimed at raising awareness of the dangers of knife and gun crime, as well as aspects of the laws surrounding it.

Feedback on our workshops have been both positive and encouraging. The workshops are interactive and covers topics that are serious, thought-provoking and fun. They are periodically reviewed to identify areas requiring improvement.

Here are a few feedback comments we have received:

My sincere appreciation and gratitude to you for delivering such an insightful and thought provoking workshop

Teacher

During our PSHE day we learnt about the dangers of carrying knives, as well as the consequences of using one. Andrew ‘T’ Clark’s story was thought provoking as he told how hanging out with the wrong type of people ruined his life. I also learnt facts about the dangers of knives and guns that I did not know before.

I thought that the Word 4 Weapons people gave us powerful advice on how to prevent us from carrying or using a gun or knife. ‘T’ told us his story and the inspirational way he turned his life around. Camara also gave us advice about thinking before we get a knife or gun, and considering the effects on family and friends.
