Mental Health

As a charity W4W main focus is on knife prevention attacks, providing education and training, is a key factor for mental health awareness.

Mental wellbeing is a growing concern around the world. Beyond the immediate physical harm knife crime inflicts, it also leaves a lasting impact on the mental health and psychological well-being of both victims and witnesses.

Addressing the Issue

W4W will work with services on Early Intervention and recognising the signs of mental health distress. Early intervention and access to mental health support can help mitigate long-term effects.

W4W believe community support from a range of services can play a pivotal role in addressing knife crime and its mental health impact.

W4W will provide Education and Training and Prevention programmes to raise awareness and also empower communities to support survivors.
